Our new catalogue - every two months - is going to the printers any day now. The pdf files are ready on our computer, and we began to have a look at the colour pages yesterday.
The front cover is an arrangement of a load of smiling faces of various colleagues - regrettably including me smirking, but you can't have everything. Various other shots of colleagues show them in amusing facial poses, including one where the guy looks a bit like Arnie doing his Terminator thing.
The inside pages worry us, though. There's a feature on the first gay marriage within our company. That it happened is fine - everyone in the company wishes them well. However, we suspect that not all our customers are as liberal as we are, so the Saturday crew are fairly certain that we're going to lose trade and that the people in question are going to get nasty phone calls.
This became more worrying when one guy reading through this pointed at me and said the next edition should feature me as the only member of ***'s Lonely Hearts Club. I told him it was a goer as long as there was a photo of us together as a happy story at the end to keep the theme going.
He ran.
