The last two times I dyed my hair, I went chocolate cherry. Just did it a few weeks ago and the gray is already showing through. :(

I've gone blacky red now, with blond streaks, that have gone a redy colour thanks to a stupid red shampoo I used to bring out the red in my hair WOOPS :rolleyes: should have known better...oh well

It didn't really phase anyone, and so much for my disguise....my supervisor still picked me out. Shit. Can't hide from anyone, can I?

Although the feedback I have gotten is all good. It pisses me off to no end when I have a dramatic change in my look and people say "You looked better the way you were" when it's a little too late to go back.

I'm tempted to grow my hair back out at times. I keep it as a buzzcut. Haven't let it grow out since I was a kid.

I'm growing my hair out again. Last time I cut it was back in June but I may get it trimmed so it looks clean.

Story involving hair time: Back in January, my hair was reaching my shoulders in terms of length. I met this girl who piqued my interest and she didn't look like the type to go for a guy with long hair. So based on my reasoning I cut my hair the day before we were supposed to go out for lunch after class. This conversation ensued.

Girl: Hey you cut your hair! Looks great.
Me: Yeah, I was getting tired of having long hair and all.
Girl: Either way, you look good with short or long hair. But I've always liked long hair for an odd reason.

It's already starting to fade. I think next time I'm going to go to a salon where they can use better quality product and hopefully suggest a shampoo/conditioner for people who have trouble keeping dark hair color. All store brand color shampoos and conditioners don't do a hell of a lot of justice when you're me and you can't keep color darker than your natural hair color.
