Leave those poor overgrown lizards alone. They're just misunderstood. It's not their fault that we're so tasty ;)

Speaking of tasty alligators, does anyone know how to cook alligator meat? I have some in my freezer and I have no clue how to cook it. ^_^;;

Come to think of it, I wouldnt have a problem travelling down there with my gun to do some hunting. All the states I would have to go through (Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia) all honor Indiana CCW permits. :devil:

Just cook alligator like you would cook fish. Personally, I like breaded fried gator tail meat. (Just like fish, overcooking the meat makes for a nasty meal. So is undercooking)

I had alligator a few years ago. Being in the Mid- West we really weren't sure what to do with it. We marinated it in teriyaki sauce then breaded and fried it and it was pretty darn tasty.
