I got woken up today about 2 hours before I wanted to (was about to drive 2 hours back to the apartment from home) by a Restricted number. Now before this, I 'd get a Restricted number calling me, I'd answer, and get just nothing but static. It's happened about 5 or so times. The only reason I even bother to answer them is because my mom's cell and my friend's cell come up as Restricted.
Anyway, it was another stupid static call. I hang up and try to go back to sleep. Two freakin minutes later it rings again. I pick up, static. As I'm about to hang up...
"So, are you still single?"
What the FUCK.
Me: "Who is this?"
Him: "Jeff. You still in Edinboro?"
Jeff... this sounds familiar somehow. So I keep talking. Yeah I'm single, not looking for a relationship, etc the usual spiel of rejection. What kind of psycho opens a conversation with "Are you still single?" anyway?
It gets worse.
"Why no relationships?" Because I don't wanna, I guess. I dunno. He keeps asking and I keep repeating myself.
"So would you want to meet someone?" Uh... no. Oh as friends? Yeah I don't have a problem with that. Why does Jeff sound so familiar...
Then... "So, do you prefer to date white or black guys?"
Me: "Hahaha I'm hanging up now" *Click.*
Freak. I'm about to go back to sleep.
Phone rings again. I ignore it. Phone beeps. Text message.
1st message: "So do you still want to meet?"
2nd message: repeat of first.
3rd message: "Are you a dom, *myname*?"
4th message: "Are you a dom, *myname*? Wanna fuck a white guy and make him your bitch?"
Haven't heard anything since. So I've been pondering on the name Jeff, and now that I think about it, I think he met one of my friends on myspace or facebook and tried to hook up with her. I don't remember if anything ever happened between them, my friend had many um... trysts that semester.
So yeah. Another freaking internet psycho. (3rd one so far)
How'd he get my number... Oh and you should have seen my face when I realized that all those silent static calls was THIS GUY HOLY SHIT.
Anyway, is there a way to block this dude? Or should I just beware "Restricted" numbers from now on?
