If a marked vehicle drives past a car in a dark street and sees two men fiddling with the car stereo and you fail to explain your actions, do not then square up to the person getting out of the car and threaten them with violence and swear, and do not act in an aggresive and threatening manner or you may find that your actions will eventually bit you on the bum.
