At my work we have 4 car washes... one's automatic and self-cleaning, the other three are self serve. You put coins or tokens in the coin box ($1 or 1 token buys you 1:45), press the button for the option you want, use the hose to wash your car, etc.

Yesterday somebody came into the store and asked "Would it be possible for someone to wash the car wash? There's a lot of crap in there."

So I grab some rags (sometimes people manage to get grease all over the hoses) and some tokens and go out there. I'm expecting the usual mud on the walls and floor (one time it was half an inch thick on the floor, took half an hour to clean). What I got was the usual mud plus a bunch of rags, rocks, wire, twisted 3-inch pipes and a doorknob. When the customer said there was a lot of crap in there, he wasn't kidding.

I'm dreading the inevitable day when somebody says "there's crap in the carwash" and means it literally.

Don't jinx yourself. I have a very redneck auntie who had a kid. Kid shit himself and managed to smear it all over his body. Auntie put the kid in the back of her pick-up truck, took him to the local car wash and took half an hour to get all the shit off of her kid. Yeah. Fun for the poor attendants!

I wondered why the topic was edited, then saw the_std's reply.

Yesterday somebody managed to get grease all over the walls in there and it took two people an hour to clean. Lucky for me it happened after I left for the day.

Also the automatic wash was out of order for 2 days. Until somebody looked under the pressure plate and found a rock.

I found two milk crates in there the other day. I think somebody used them as steps so they could wash the roof of their car or truck, then forgot about them.
