Heres the deal. I go to sears for photos. i love going there. i think they take really good pictures. i had a family portrait done with me, my fiance, and our son. beautiful pictures. i had wanted to order more from the website, but i never had enough spare money. until recently. i was planning on doing it this past week, but it slipped my mind. ive had so much on it. ive had a baby with a cold, so when im home, im taking care of him, and then im setting christmas in my department, all by myself, at work, so i have ALOT of my mind. the last day i had to order photos was 11-10-2007. i didn't have to call in, i just had to order it off the website.

i went to do it at 8 that night, because i actually remembered! i couldn't do it. it wouldn't allow me to. im not happy about that.

I know i shouldn't have waited until the last minute, but the way i feel about it, i should have had until 11:59 that night to do it. since i was doing it on the computer, i didn't have to worry about a store closing. if i had to do it at the store, and i got there after the store closed, well, too bad.

i don't know if im right or wrong on this. i understand i shouldn't have waited until the last minute, but i still feel i should have had all day to place an order on the internet.

Regardless of you placing the order online, that order is still being forwarded to the store to actually be printed and processed. So to me, by the close of business makes sense.

i thought of that too, but where i work, you can send pics to the store through the internet. my store closes at 7. you can still place an order, we just print it the next day.

Really the internet never closes. That was the whole point of the Dot-com revolution of the 90s. Shop anytime you want to. Shop in the middle of the night or the middle of the day. Its up to you. Blah blah blah. Imposing artificial restricitons by tying the order process to the business hours of the big box defeats the purpose and is cheating on the business' part.

Ljt09863: You're right as long as you had it in by 11:59:59 it should have counted. You ought to complain to someone about that.

i emailed sears. i left out the part of me forgetting and having a sick baby, which explains the past week of not doing it, and i left out me not having money to do it before, because i didn't want to sound like i was trying to get pity.

i didn't go through planet feedback, but i used the link on Sears.com. i plainly explained how i felt. i even threw in how much i love the pictures i get. i also told them about the photographer at the last session, and how great she was with my son.

so what i was trying to do, was complain without sounding whiney. im hoping that will get me a positive response. ive learned in the past, thats the best way.

when my sons highchairs leg broke, with him in it( i had a hand on it, so he didn't fall), i wrote Graco, and was nice about it, and they had me the replacement parts free within 4 days, even though the confirmation email said 2-3 weeks. so i am trying to be nice to sears, hoping that maybe they will allow me to order some of the photos from the session. i don't want anything free, but i want to be able to order those photos.

Ahh I see. Well good luck to you. Sounds like you've got it covered. Hope it turns out well.
