Recently, as in last week; I was in Burrlington Coat Factory and I noticed that they do not have any benches or motorized carts for seniors and/or handicapped. Do they not, want Seniors or handicapped people shopping there? Seriously, what the hell?

i don't think they're obligated to provide those items. As long as they comply with the basic ADA requirements, no one can really complain. It is nice if stores do provide them, but not all do. I can think of several stores of that size that don't even have benches unless you go to the fitting room or to the shoe aisle.

I quit shopping there years ago. I am pretty laid back, and do not need my butt kissed, but the level of surly, pushy, cluelessness on the part of the employees is more than even I can take. At least, it is in the one here in my town.

There are many reasons, but the top one is that I have to get into an argument every single time I want to check out. They ask for a phone number, I say no, and instead of just moving on we have to have a major ordeal that goes on forever.

The next to the last time I went in there, I left a hundred bucks worth of merchandise on the belt. Months passed. A friend said I was silly for boycotting an entire store I liked because of one stupid clerk (this was not an isolated incident, btw.). I went in one afternoon because it was convenient. I figured, "oh heck, B is right, I AM being silly."

Guess what happened?

Yeah, I'm done with them.
