This week's quotes are all from movies that have to do with the holidays. I love a good Christmas movie, so here we go.

1 Only one thing in the world could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window.

2 Susan, I speak French, but that doesn't make me Joan of Arc.

3 I don't mind you shooting at me, Frank, but take it easy on the Bacardi.

4 I been savin' this money for a divorce, if ever I got a husband.

5 It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes, or bags!

6 Damn. How can you give Kris Kringle a parking ticket on Christmas Eve? What's next, rabies shots for the Easter Bunny?

7 If they told you wolverines would make good house pets, would you believe them?

8 A toy is never truly happy until it is loved by a child.

9 What kind of Thanksgiving dinner is this? Where's the turkey? Don't you know anything about Thanksgiving dinners? Where's the mashed potatoes? Where's the cranberry sauce? Where's the pumpkin pie?

10 Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

LOL, Crow. I hated that movie, too, but my Dad loooooved it when I was growing up. We were forced to watch it every year after it came out. I really liked that line too.

okay, SubwayGirl and RK got number one, indeed my very favorite Christmas movie, A Christmas Story, and number 5, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

SubwayGirl got number 3, Scrooged, number four, It's A Wonderful Life and number 10, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Crow The Robot got number 6, Home Alone.

RK got number 8, another favorite of mine, the stop-motion version of Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer.

RK, I explained the theme at the the top of the post, silly!

P.S. I will never put two quotes from one movie in the same thread.

7 = Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (I love that movie)

9 = A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (I'm almost positive. I haven't seen it in years, but I seem to remember Peppermint Patty bitching about the food).

2 Susan, I speak French, but that doesn't make me Joan of Arc.
I'm pretty sure this is Miracle on 34th Street.

You guys rawk.

Kara is correct, 7 is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, and 9 is of course Peppermint Patty bitching to "Chuck" about the food in A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

And XCashier got 2 right, it is indeed Miracle on 34th St.

Wow, that one went fast!
