The latest trend where I live, ok well not really because it's been going on forever, but I'm really starting to notice it now........the newest style in older/middle aged men is the Pregnant Man Look!
Allow me to explain. Imagine an olive on a toothpick. A man with skinny legs, wearing a shirt tucked into his pants, and his belly hanging over his belt as if he were a woman about 8 months pregnant. It's HILARIOUS!
I'm not making fun of overweight people as in calling them "fat" or taunting them. I don't even say anything aloud. I'm making light of how truly pregnant these MEN look when they have a beer gut or otherwise protruding belly and they still tuck their shirt in their pants, and ESPECIALLY when they put their hands on their hips. They really do look like the way a woman looks when she's almost due to give birth.
I don't know why, but I find it so amusing and it's the newest reason as to why I'm nearly running into shut doors and not paying attention at work. In the room across the hall, I can see several men from first shift who come in early, all of them have a tiny lower body, skinny legs, yet they have these beer guts and their bellies are shaped just like a pregnant woman's belly. And how they tuck their shirts in, it's just too funny........
I just had to share what amuses me so much lately out in public and at work. I wonder when these guys are due? And more importantly, HOW did it happen?!
