Can I ask why my posts disappear?

I posted something in General yesterday, and it's not there today... I don't think I've ever pissed off the powers that be, but I couldn't find it in any of the other forums either and was wondering if it had been deleted :(

I don't know of any posts you've started that have descended into anything we would delete. If it's a post in a thread that's gone bad and had to be deleted (this is fairly rare, I'll point out) then it would go.

However, one good test is to go to the members section, find yourself, then click on "All threads started by..." and you should be able to find a post easier.

Feel free to tell me what the thread was about via PM and I'll see if I can dredge anything up.

Oddly enough, I can find it by clicking on my username and using the "Find all posts by" option, but I still can't view it in the thread list. Oddness. Anyway, it's still there somewhere... ;)
