Where to go for avatars?

Any suggestions for sites where I could get a free avatar? Ideally, I am looking for (what else?) a jester, cartoonish preferably, but it seems to be eluding me.

Just create your own.
Find the perfect pic and size it correctly, then upload it. 100x100 pixels or 19.5 kb

you can also look through various forums/webcomics/google images (http://images.google.com)/or do anything you want!
