My new kitten Tiny doens't have very good litter habits. I got him very young. I thing that he was taken from his mother to early. He'll suck all over my hand, as though it was a pacifier.

I keep the litter box very clean, I scoop it every morning and even sometimes at night, but every morning whenI wake up, I find little piles and poop all around the litter box (I have carpet). My hubby is getting pissed over this which is understandable, he stepped in it one morning (ooooops).

I don't know what to do. I have put him in the litter box with the pile of poop to let him know that it goes there and any other time I can. I have never litter trained a cat. I have owned cats all of my life but they always came litter trained or my mother did it.

I don't want to get rid of him, he's my favorite. He is so little and sweet. He loves to give little kitty kisses all of the time.

I need some advise from the kitty veterans out there on what to do about this.

My house is very small and cannot handle the smell of poop. My son is bad enough (he still wets the bed at night). I currently have 4 cats, 2 kittens (male) and two adults (female). My hubby tolerates them, especially the males, but the one is going to have to go if he doesn't stop. My hubby will physically toss him out the door.

Maybe talk to your vet and see what they recommend. I was having problems with Harley chewing on electrical wires and I called my vet, they offered a couple of solutions and the rest is history.

All my cats, I plopped them in the litter box a couple of times after "walking" them to the litter box and they've been using it since.

Also, it's not cool to physically throw a cat out the door because it's not using the litterbox.
