Spaghetti with... a few meatballs

I'm at home eating lunch right now. The only thing I had that I could make quickly was Chef Boyardee spaghetti with meatballs. I need to go shopping.
I open the can, plop it into a bowl and nuke it.

The taste.. hmmm.. Not horrible, but a blind monkey with no arms can make better.
But what gets me... where are the meatballs?

A regular sized can, and there are only 4 meatballs! WTF is up with that?

That's it. I'm writing a letter of complaint on PFB. That'll teach 'em!

Next time I eat Spaghetti-Os, I'll save the meatballs for you. I pick 'em out since I don't like them.

Spaghetti-O's in general are horrible.

And then there's my roommate, who buys the generic supermarket supercheap-o version. And EATS it, too!

Spaghetti, as a rule, should not come out of a can.

However, I do occasionally crave Spaghetti-Os. (Original only, please...no meatballs.)

When I was little I loved Spaghetti-O's! When we were living in England (Banbury to be exact), we'd go to the Base and the commissary like once a month or so (can't really remember, I was like 4, and my remembery is fuzzy on what I did yesterday). I begged and begged my Mom for Spaghetti-O's and she bought me one can (it was expensive back then).

A week later, I had told my (then) best friend that I could jump from the second most top step of a flight of stairs all the way down to the bottom. (I made it about half way before my foot got caught on a step and I tumbled the rest of the way down). I knocked loose my 2 front bottom teeth.

My mom made me the Spaghetti-O's. As I'm eating them, I realize I have "rocks" in them. I tell my mom I can't eat it, it has rocks. My mom doesn't believe me so I spit it out to show her. Turns out the "rocks" were my 2 front bottom teeth! My mom, for some reason, loves to tell that story. :rolleyes:

Eating them cold is no grosser than eating them hot. Gross is gross, whatever the temp.
