I love brisk / cool mornings. I really do.

Last night the temperature dropped like a brick, on average 3 degrees an hour (15 degrees in 5 hours between 7pm and midnight). I woke up this morning and it was 50 degrees out, the temp dropped another degree (49) before it started to go back up.

I came home about 5:30 and it was only 60 out and the temperature was already dropping. It's 56 degrees out now, much cooler than it was this time last night and the sky is very clear, I can even see a few starts (well, most likely planets).

The windows were open last night and the bedroom was very cool, no AC needed. It's even been pretty dry recently. It's a great break from the mid 80s and humid we've had the past month.

(Today's high was only 67 degrees).

You'd freeze up here in NC . . . right now the Weatherbug says it's 32 degrees.

Even worse . . . the low is expected to be around 22. It wouldn't be so bad if we could just have a little bit of snow, as we haven't had any in several years.

This time last week, we had record highs in the mid 70's . . . it felt great.

I'm not a fan of cold weather per se, but I would like to have one good snowfall - hold the ice.

You'd really hate it here in Boston! 24 degrees with almost 19 inches of snow piled up! Nice Icy roads too.

Wanna trade places for a few days? :p

I'm not fond of weather extremes, but given the choice, I'll take cold weather over hot weather. You can put on extra clothes for cold weather, there's only so far you can legally undress for hot! ;)

Who said anything about legally? Gimme the heat every time!

Same here! When I lived in Florida, during the summer months, unless I had to go to work or grocery-shopping, I almost NEVER left the house because it was so disgustingly hot/humid out! Eff that shit!

I grew up in northern New england. I would take the train south to Boston's north station. :) Trust me, I know all about the cold and I'd prefer it over the excessive heat sometimes.

It didn't cool off that much last night. My weather station says it is currently 52.16 degrees, it only reached 50.72 degrees, but the humidity is at 93% (ew) Pressure went from 1011mb the other day (when the leftovers of Opal passed by us) to 1024 today, that's a hike but it should mean clear skies (but warmer temperatures).

I'm originally from Phoenix. Very little humidity, but excruciating heat. Normal desert heat + Urban Heat Island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_Heat_Island) Effect = living in a pressure cooker. Some folks thrive on the heat. I can't.

It's cold, wet, and rainy outside. I love it. I'll take cloudy work days over sunny days any day.
