So tonight one of our projects was to take down an empty gondola and then pull down all the holiday storage totes off high rises and place them where the gondola had been.
I went to pull down a stack of totes that was probably too heavy for me to do alone, because I lost my balance, fell backwards off my stepstool, and hurled the totes off to the side while I tried not to pitch backwards into the gondola behind me.
When I got up and brushed myself off, I noticed every single tote in the stack was cracked or smashed. They all had to be sent to the service desk for defective tags. The carnage was pretty impressive.
Hey, it was either break the totes or break myself.
