I got a raise. Pretty big by my store's standards...a dollar an hour.
I'm now making $10.35 an hour. And since we get paid time and a half on Sundays, anything over eight hours a day, and reg. overtime...

But... That's like saying "I'm saving up to afford moving into the dump." That doesn't make any sense (and since I live in NJ, I can say that! :)

True.

Good for you. I know how it feels to make less than $10 an hour in this economy.

I'm sorry, big sis. Maybe if you talked to your bosses and told them that as an assistant manager you're making less than me...

Thanks. :D
Less than $10 an hour in NJ? Forget about it. I should've looked into it, I might've qualified for foodstamps.

Trust me. I've mentioned it.
I'm sure I'll get over it.
And besides, you deserve it and more, especially with TWWOTFE, and management not doing a damn thing about it.

You've got a point there.
You're so wise.
