I'm in bed. I refuse to leave my electric blanket because my house is freezing (my room is probably 50 - 55 right now...I don't get heat and have 3 exterior walls).

The dog (90 lb lab in my avatar) is on my bed with me under his blanket. I go over to see him, and I'm hit by a wall of stench.

The dog farted on my bed! And anyone who's been around a gassy dog knows that dog farts are professional series.

Gross!!

My older Border Collie is the king of Silent But Deadlies x_x Fortunately, he's an outside dog, so he's not stenching up the house.

OT, I've tried introducing him to the house, but he usually just noses around for a few minutes before wanting back out.

My Mom's Pom will let one go on occasion as well. 'Cept sometimes he goes toot so you have a warning.

Pew! Dog farts are pretty yucky. Brewer's Yeast does sometimes help, as well as switching to a grain free diet like Innova Evo or Taste of the Wild. But my dog is on grain free and raw as a supplement and still has occasional gas, so yeah, dog owners sometimes just gotta take one for the team.

If my dog Buster eats venison jerky (my step-dad gets a doe and buck almost every year)... you had better be in another town when Buster rips ass... He puts my husband to shame! LOL!

Oh, gods, yeah.

Funny thing is, I used to have both a scottie (8 inches at the shoulder) and a Great Pyrenees (2 1/2 feet at the shoulder). Guess which one could clear a room at will?

Although she doesn't do it that often, when my little 9 pound cat farts it could clear out a room! She sometimes drops nasty smelling poops too! I always ask her how something so putrid could come out of something so cute. But I love my cat and I wouldn't give her up for anything.

My cat, Cindy, is a smelly ball of fluff. She is so tiny and cute, but when she farts its silent and SO smelly! You need to waft the air with paper so you can breathe!

my dog Bear, is a 14lb. Schipperke and he farts out some silent but deadlies that put my fiance to shame. Sometimes my FMIL's cats shame the dog in that department.

I have stinky kittens, too- after their neuters both are going on a raw diet to get rid of that! Cats on raw only poo every 3-4 days, rather than multiple times per day on dry foods.

Kitty farts are just as bad, if not yuckier.

My baby was trained since infancy by my old room-mate's cat (who was trained by her papa) that farting in one's face is love.

So, often enough, when the hubs and I are laying around watching tv, Patches comes padding up to our chest, purrs, rubs and then turns to go "POOF!" in our face. She then demurely turns around and meows, then rubs herself against us again.

Bad Tum-tum...farting on your kitty's face and call it love has reprecussions!

My old hospital once had a Weimeraner that ate 5 pounds (2.27kg) of bread dough. Know what bread dough does when it's inside a Weimeraner? It ferments. Thank Bob I wasn't working that day. The odor was still lingering the next day...

We had this one cat for a while named Biscuit, who was usually fairly unfriendly. On some rare occasions, though, she'd come running up to one of us, meowing loudly, purring, being all cute, whatever. We'd reach down to pick her up, and as soon as there was that bit of pressure on her belly...*FFFARRRRT*

Then she'd run off while the human was still gagging.

She used us as GAS PUSHERS. And after doing this to each of us dozens of times, we kept falling for it her entire life. Oy.
