Rushing into the Holidays

2 days past Christmas I was at Wal-Mart & what I saw literally made me stop in mid stride. I was like this---->:eek: Why was I like that you ask? They had VALENTINE'S DAY stuff out already!! Valentine's day isn't until February 14th & they have that shit out already??

I've got you beat. We started setting Valentine's day stuff before Christmas.

We even have Cadbury Creme Eggs in and on the floor.

I know it does sound sucky, but by Christmas the seasonal stuff like candy, gifts and decorative crap is pretty much sold down and you need to put something up to fill up its space, even if it seems too early to do so.

Do they do things differenty in the States? Over here in Britland Creme Eggs are year round delicious treats. As well as several other egg themed chocolate godneesses.

Yup. Around here you only find Cadbury Creme eggs at Easter time.

A cadbury egg however is as close to chocolate excellence as you can get. The rich creamy center, the thin coca goodness of the shelll.. almost orgasmically good...:p

I've said it before I think stores should just have a section with all the holiday stuff in it all year round.

I love Cadbury eggs. Even if I could find them in the off season I wouldn't get them, because they're more special when I only get them once a year. :p

But yeah, I hate when stores put out stuff for the next holiday early. Give us time to grieve the loss of Christmas and all his brethren before you start selling us Valentine crap.

As much as I love Cadbury Cream Eggs, I will not buy them anymore.
Last year, they started making them smaller and charged more.

As for the OP, yes.. I saw that today, too. Valentine's Day stuff in the store. Now I just wonder why don't we just make the whole year one big holiday?

A man after my own heart. One of the only junk foods I will eat is the occasional cadbury creme egg, but peeps make me gag. Yeuck.
