My 21st Birthday!!

So I turned 21 on Monday, and went out and celebrated last night! (For those of y'all overseas, 21 is the legal drinking age in America).

If I'm counting everything right, I had:

1 sex on the beach
2 coke and parrot bay
1 jaeger shot
1 irish cream shot thingy that tasted like coffee
1 leg splitter shot
1 kamikaze shot
1 leg splitter drink (wouldn't that equal like 4 shots??)

This was all within like 3 hours, but I had most of it within the first 2 hours. I'm a lightweight. I've never had more than 5 drinks at a time (and that was only once). Let's just say I was roasty-toasty. Oh yeah - I started drinking at like 1015, but I hadn't eaten since like.....230 or 3. Bad move. I'm pretty sure I remember most of the night. I do know that it was mean to put complicated soap dispensers in the bathroom for drunk people. I found the easy ones, but only after pushing everything on the complicated ones. My friends said I was pretty far gone. All in all, it was a super fun night though :) :angel:

Glad you had fun on your 21st. We went out last night too and celebrated a friends B-day, however he was 26. Once you get past 21, it's just not as fun anymore. :lol:

Well, one good thing about the night. You made it home safe. :D

Haha thanks. And Greenday, I would NEVER have 21 shots. I know better. I wasn't walking straight after the first drink, I would be permanently stuck to the floor after 21. After the last drink (which was the strength of 2 drinks) though, I was REALLY REALLY drunk. We'll see how much I "forget" throughout the day haha.

I don't remember my 21st, but my friends said I hit shot #17 or 18 and pretty much passed out from there.

My friend who is a bigger guy. Not fat, but just all around bigger managed 22 before he passed out.

Now that you're 21, remember the rules of drinking. You know, don't drink and drive, know your limits ... yadda yadda, bars and clubs can be fun! But be safe! :)

That tradition was unheard of when I turned 21 (damn... 16 years ago), and it's probably a good thing, since I weighed all of 140 lbs back then. All I had was a few beers, and I think someone may have bought me a drink.

Haha. Mike - I'm all of 150 lbs (I'm 6ft tall though), and I was walking crooked after my first drink.

Fashion Lad, I'm also aware of the rules. I can't drink and drive b/c I don't have a license or a car haha. And ALWAYS go to a bar with friends, particularly larger men :)

At school, I think I'll do most of my drinking in the safety of my apartment. That way, they can lock me in my room if I'm being an ass lol.

Aw, what a good girl. Covering all the safety issues. My sister tries to cover the drunk driving issue by calling me at 2:30-3:30 in the freaking morning and putting me on a guilt trip. I just tell her hell no and she can just sober up. Maybe she just shouldn't drink so freaking much.

For my 18th birthday (18 is the legal age in Alberta) I went out with a friend, my brother, his friend, and his then-girlfriend. (Except for the friend I went out with, none of my friends were 18 yet.) I'd never gotten drunk before in my life. By the end of the night, I'd had:

-1/3 of a bottle of malt liquor
-2 or 3 beers
-4 or 5 double highballs and mixed drinks
-15 or so shots

The last thing I remember was dancing on a speaker at the bar with my brother's then-girlfriend at about 1 in the morning. Everything after that-apparently, we went to BP's and 7-11 after the bar shut down at 2-is not in my memory banks, and is best left in th past.
