Not literally, because I live in town, but figuratively speaking.....

I had a really bad night at work with DipShit again, and on the way home, Alicia Keys "No one" was on, and I got so into it.......I wish I could have seen my own face.....I was singing it at the top of my lungs....with all the soul I could muster.....so loud........now my voice is all raspy...

Anyone else ever do that? I'm sure I got a few Looks from people on the roads....

Yup, I have been there and done that. It can be very therapeutic to just let it all out.
As for the people looking at you - pity them if they've never allowed themselves to cut loose when they needed it.

I'm gonna do it again in an hour on my way to work. And guess what CD is going in?

JOURNEY!

Thank goodness the roads are pretty deserted at night. LoL. If any fellow Wisconsin CSers ever see a little blue car zooming down the road with the Journey blaring....that's me!

Hey, I've belted out a Journey tune or two...Seperate Ways is a favorite. No shame there...I think. :p

Oh, yeah. But then, I sing in a folk band. So the car is a good place to practice!

Be careful you don't injure your vocal chords. Have fun, but try to learn to do it without straining yourself. It's fun, so you want to be able to keep doing it!

I am absolutely tone deaf, but when driving alone, I sing along with every song I know the words to, from Ozzy to Fergie. The way I see it, if it makes my drive less boring and keeps me from daydreaming while driving or talking on my cell phone, the people around me oughta be thanking me, not giving funny looks. I just sing louder if I get strange looks.

Yes Yes...I do feel better again.

I can't believe I found my Savage Garden CD this morning.....I can't believe how much I still, to this day, still love "To the Moon and Back"

I do that...with other people even. The looks people give us are hilarious. But, then, four people rocking out and playing air guitar to "War Pigs" is pretty damn funny looking. I can see the dots!!!
