So there's a girl I like, and a dance coming up.
You'd think this would be a primo time to ask her out, right?
Hell no. It's girls ask boys, and she and I don't really know each other that well.

I'm thinking about being cute and forcing it on her, saying something like, "Hey, you wanna ask me out to the dance?;)", but that makes me seem like a real jackass.

Anything I can do, or should I wait for another dance to roll around?

Also, I can't ask her to a "normal" date, I can't drive. :(

Well you could always "unofficially" ask her and then have her officially ask her later. Either that or try having a discussion with her about the dance and things and asking who she was planning on asking. You know go up and talk to her.

I never understood why people put up with all the drama and BS. Maybe one reason I wasn't one of the popular kids in high school though. So take my advice at your own risk.

Well, you can either be honest and do that, or you can moan and whine about being single and how people are not approaching you. Don't ask, don't get.
