Almost became a splodge on the ground

Yesterday, when we finished backstocking the truck freight, I was stacking pallets next to the mezzanine gate, which happened to be almost.

I lost my balance for just a second or so, and almost fell through the open gate.

It would've been a good 15-foot drop to the cement floor or so.

Note to self: Be more careful around the second floor gate in the backroom. Especially if it's open. Also the word "splodge" is very cool.

Yeah, that would have been bad. A girl from my school once stepped off a train, and fell through the space between the train and the platform. Luckily she only sprained her wrist, but it could have been a lot worse. You gotta be careful around holes in the ground.

And yes, it is a very, very cool word.

More importantly...don't get hurt. One, it sucks, secondly, it stops being a funny word for us if you become it :(
