This is to the guys who play FFO currently.

Did they do away with the randomized server selection, and world pass crap?

I had heard they allowed you to now pick your server.

A few of my friends, and I are considering getting back into FFO, and will more then likely start over.

Anyway, just thought Id ask

Not to my knowledge, but I can check into it.

EDIT:: Your information is correct, here is a link to the official FFO site and article detailing them doing away with the world pass system.

:) Shiva is the world server I play on, my Character is an Elvaan from San d'oria.

My main job is White Mage, but I also am in the process of leveling several other jobs. And yes Mithra Redmage/Ninjas can kick some serious butt.

Hmm, which city/faction seems to be stronger on average?

Its a pain not being able to get elemental crystals just outside the gate, in the *newbie* zone, when your side cant keep even that attuned to them...

On Shiva at least its rare for the Windurst, Bastok or San d'Oria not to keep control of the regions just outside of their cities. Beyond that San d'Oria and Windurst tend to be on top most often from week to week.

I'm only in one at the moment and it is an end game LS and unfortunately they have a level requirement for entry (at least one job level 45). I don't have much play time as of late with school and all, and I understand, it really is the community that makes the game.

The LS is called Hope from Ash and can be found at www.hopefromash.com

I used to belong to a small tight knit LS called Stewies Assassins, but they have since broken up as most of the members have quit playing for one reason or another. Although we are working on starting an LS strictly for running Chains of Promathia content. We will see what happens.
