Yes, I AM! :devil:

I already put in my request to have off on Thanksgiving. :wave:

Hey, it wasn't blacked out yet.

:devil::lol:

Hmm.. let me see.
You are a woman.
Therefore, you are evil.

But not evil for requesting Thanksgiving off. That's just pure genius.

I've requested the hole week of Thansgiving off.

Eh, less "evil" and more "opportunistic".

But, hey, to-may-to, to-mah-to... :lol:

That's maybe like...Darth Vader evil. What would be truly evil, like, Emperor evil, would be to ask for Christmas Eve and Day off. Muahaha.

I used to put in for Pennsic the week I returned from Pennsic.

Hey, you snooze, you lose.

No, you are not evil. :whistle:

I figured it was only fair, especially since I'm not allowed to request my birthday off.*

And as for working/not working Christmas, I don't think they'll let me work it this year. Supposedly there were customer complaints about my attitude...which is amazing since I hardly worked the register at all!

*My birthday this year falls during the glorious time known as Summerfest. Summerfest is my store's Black Friday. NO ONE gets requested time off during Summerfest. The only reason we get time off, period, during that time is because of budgeted payroll. :lol::cry::eek: (For those that don't know, Summerfest is a week and half of almost nonstop concerts down at the lakefront. We get some of the biggest names in music to come play free shows (the biggest ones play at the Ampitheatre, for real money, though); it's great fun.)

Why not? Can't hurt to try.

I put in for February 3rd off back in October or so. Before anyone else would or would think to.

For you non-football fans, February 3rd is Super Bowl Sunday.

I don't miss the Super Bowl, and I DON'T work on it either, great money or not.

Since I usually have Sundays off anyway, and I have some bit of seniority, and my managers love me, I see no problem with this, nor do they.

hehe!

Only if I can label booking my vacation for the Halo 3 launch as evil too.

(note, I was effectively the lead in the gaming area of the store. Everyone usually came to me for info on anything game related there)

I'd say more organised than evil.

If you come running into the store on turkey day to flaunt your not working status, not *thats* evil! :devil:

:D

I actually asked off for that weekend in early December, without knowing it was SB Sunday, since I don't care about football.

Yeah, I have a few unhappy coworkers, but oh, well. :lol:

{My favorite local cover bandis playing that Saturday, and since I refuse to work for 9 hours after getting home at 3am...:devil:}

What would truly be Darth Vader evil is putting in a request for not only the entire week of thanksgiving, but for week off for Christmas, and a few days for New Year's too. :devil:

I wish I could be evil and ask for holiday weeks off. :cry:

They're all blacked out. No vacations, no personal days, and I'm pretty sure that if you call out sick, you had damn well better be on your deathbed.
