I just came back from a wonderful evening of going to see a friend's band downtown, a pleasure I haven't had for quite some time. Loch Ness Johnny. High powered mix of Irish traditional, Americana, rock, and punk. They're headed up to Ashville tomorrow to play, not sure where. Check your local concert calendar, if you have one.
Wow. I need a cigarette after that show. And I don't even smoke. It was just so nice to get out. The pub was full of people I knew and hadn't seen for a while, the food was great, the tequilla was great, the service was great, and the music blew me out of my freaking chair. Just amazing. :)
