So...
This weekend it will be February. I'm already making plans with my husband for Valentines Day. 12 of you have contacted me with your reasons for not sending them out on time, but since then I believe only one of you actually sent their cards out as promised.
:pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed:
For those of you who still have not sent them out, I hope you're reading this. You have one week to get them out. After next Wednesday, don't bother because you won't be allowed to join up next time either way.
This is supposed to be a fun project for the holidays. I know that many of you enjoy it, and that's pretty much why I offered to keep it going when the girl whose idea it was in the first place stopped doing it. It's stupid shit like this that really takes the fun out of it for me. I do NOT enjoy being a Christmas Nazi, in case you were wondering. Maybe I'm a bitch for thinking it would be nice if I could pack my Christmas cards away seeing as I'm getting ready to get my Valentines together.
Getting and sending cards to CS members from all over the globe is fun but costly. I start taking sign ups in AUGUST, so you all should have plenty of time to work out your budgets and figure out whether or not this is something you'll be able to do.
On behalf of those who went to a lot of effort and expense to get their cards out in a reasonable amount of time, I am frankly PISSED at those of you couldn't be bothered. What a rude and sucky thing to do. We bitch about sucky customers who don't read signs, but you ignored plenty of messages from me and a few of our participating moderators. Some of you had the bloody nerve to flake on me after I gave you a break last year. (No good deed goes unpunished, I suppose.)
To those of you who participated: Thank you. I appreciate your cards and your friendship. I look forward to doing this with you again for as many years as I'm at CS. Thanks for always coming through for me.
