I had a online girlfriend on Myspace. That is news to me.
But apparently she broke up with me. Her BF on there, messaged me saying that I was just using her for sex. Okkkkk. I never knew that her and I was going together. Plus, she lives in another state.
I asked them what the hell was going on. They told me, that I am not blocked. I just replyed that it was good., Since I have no fuckin clue what they were talking about, or who they are.
Oh the many joys of Myspace.com
Do you have any stories of myspace, facebook or any other site?

Hmm - many moons ago, I used to have a certain friend. When I mentally woke up and realised he was using people left, right, and centre, I decided that I wasn't going to have anything to do with him. Within a few months of that, he'd pissed off pretty much every other mutual friend we had (different reasons).
Not heard from him in a while. We're talking nearly a decade or so. Perhaps a couple of months ago, his ex (was ex by the time I'd decided to give up on him) found me and a mutual chum through Facebook. We exchanged a few PMs, then all went quiet, though she had been online. MC (mutual chum) was coming up in a couple of weeks for a visit, and did she want to meet up for a chat? No response, and MC tried to PM her as well. No response.
About a week before MC hit the area, ex-chum got hold of him over Facebook. Damn, but the coincidences mounted up at that point. Apparently he had been unable to find me on Facebook due to me not using the name he's familiar with (boo hoo). I received a poke from him, at which point I promptly changed my status to "thinking that JDP can **** off", and I hit ignore. Two days later? I get a friends invite from him.
MC isn't too bothered by this and is PMing him from time to time, though I did have to remind him that the reason he gave up on J is that he (J) bagged off with a lass he knew MC was trying to get along with, even though he (J) didn't want her anyway (was trying to make his ex jealous to get her back).
I promptly ignored the friends request, and I'm vaguely hoping it dies down from there. The coincidence is astonishing - one person from that era finds us on FB and then another does, despite not being on her friends list. If he ever appears on there, I'll be deleting her from mine.
That's about it, I reckon.

Facebook is the Devil. I was dragged on by family. Now I try to pretend it doesn't exist.
Myspace is so full of spam, I'm rarely ever on. Anytime I think I have a new comment, it's just more spam from friends with infected profiles.
Spam is pouring into Facebook as well. There are spam bots and lots of applications that force you to invite friends before you can add them.

They recently added options that make it much harder for spambots to get to you. You can turn on an option that requires anyone sending you a friends request to enter the text from an image, which computers apparently can't read. You can also do the same for anyone not on your friends list who wants to send you a message.
It's been working quite well for me. I was getting several spams a day on there. Now I've gotten a total of one since I changed my settings a few months ago.
The only weirdness I've gotten that's even close to the original post was some girl on AIM who contacted me, swore up and down that I was someone she knew, and got all pissy when I told her I didn't know her, and accused me of playing games. It might have been a prank, or might have been some crazy person. Either way, I blocked her.

Oh, I don't know... I checked my MySpace for the first time the other night in a long time. I had a friend's request and when I clicked on the profile link I was suddenly flooded with a billion porn pop-ups.
I just exited Myspace and forgot about checking my messages and things. It took some battling to get them all to go away. Then, there was much scanning for left over crap- spyware, viruses, etc.

I piddle around with MySpace once in a while (slightly more so in the last couple of days) and while I get the occasional "friend request" from some wannabe porn star, I haven't really had much other trouble with it.
However, looking up people I went to school with and looking at their's makes me realize that I am the smartest, prettiest, most successful, and most well adjusted thing to come out of my school aside from perhaps my two siblings. And I haven't had so much plastic surgery that I look like Micheal Jackson with two medicine balls embedded in his chest while being burned with acid. And this was a girl I went to school with who wasn't a classic beauty, but turned her share of heads, so it's particularly WUGH.

My wife and I are both on myspace, but then, that's the problem. :p No no...it's not because I'm trying to be scandalous or whatever. She's the ONLY ONE who comments on my page. It gets really annoying because, don't get me wrong, I'm all for her putting funny pics/comments on there, but when I have about 15 friends and she's the only one who visits my page, it kinda sucks. What's also annoying is all the goddamn'd bulletins. If anything, I like myspace because...
- It allows me to practice my mad HTML skillz.
- I can get in touch with a bunch of people from high school.
- I can see what my friends are doing and what neat designs they have for their pages.
I used to blog on there a bit, but that got old. Besides, I enjoy reviewing games more than just writing up a blog that maybe 2 people will look at. Sure, it helps me get things off my chest, but whatever. I'm thinking of putting my myspace link on my profile if anyone's interested, but that's about it.

i like myspace. but I have a nasty habit of deleting you if I have not talked to you in a while. MY friend list is about to go from 40 to 20 soon.
