Apologies if this is the wrong forum, by the way.
Spotted at the local cinema this morning. Yes, I know it's just one letter off, and not really a huge mistake, but come on. It's right there, in huge red letters, on the side of a major highway on display for the entire town to see, and did I mention not too far from an interstate exit?
Oh well. It's opportunities like this that make me glad I carry my digicam with me :p

When I was living in PA (before the days of camera phones), I drove past a dry cleaner on my way home from work. They had one of those types of signs out front...something about SHIRTS. Yeah, the R was missing...for quite a few days, too

Heck, at least it was a typo, though I'm surprised SC's didn't pour into the establishment and complain. But here, we also have one of the famed "Fu King" Chinese restaurants. Friends like to turn to one another and say "Hey, you wanna go grab some Fu King eggrolls tonight?"

That works off the assumption SC's can:
A) Read signs
B) Spell

Back in 2000, me and my family went to South Carolina for vacation (I was 16 at the time) during the summer. While we were driving back to Florida, we saw a couple of signs that said "We have pretty crappy minnows" and "Is your butt here?".

While in Myrtle Beach one year, I saw a crowded movie marquee with some shortened titles. It resulted in these two gems:
'Powerpuff Mann'
'Ya Ya Arnold'

There is a billboard down the street. Its about drinking and driving. It says something about
You don't have to blow .08
to get a ticket!
Now... since most people do have a bit of a sick mind, and your going past that sign to fast to read it fully what word does that blow .08 become?

A place near my husband's childhood home used to advertise 'fresh cat sandwiches'.

We have a store here that advertises 'bulk ass chews' every once in a while. I always choke the first time I see it, and then wonder why they'd keep putting that same sign up.

The absolute worse sign I've ever seen was sadly on the side of my local high school (this was after I graduated)
"Parent teacher confrances"
Even worse that stayed up for the entire month :-(

On I-80 somewhere in Nebraska, I saw the following road sign:
Beaver 13
Friend 6
You really CAN get stuck in the "friend zone"!

I'd be pulling my kid out of that school ASAP. In the assumption I had kids, that is.
