This will be a fun thread!
Anyone who has seen something truly idiotic lately, or even today, or whenever, can nominate an "Idiot of the day". Just say who the award is for, and then post the story/sighting involved. I'll start:
The Idiot of the day award goes to..........the lady in the building next to mine.
In the winter time, a lot of people plug their cars in at night. I never realized you could plug your car in from the back end, but I guess you can.
I was smoking a cigg outside before getting ready for work last night, and I saw the lady in the building next to me get into her car and start it up. She was backed in to her parking spot. Then I heard this somewhat odd noise. The next thing I knew, I saw her driving past my building on her way out, with her cord DRAGGING behind her car. It must have went under her tires or got tangled, because just before she turned out of the parking lot, the cord fell off.
So basically, she had plugged her car in, forgot to unplug it before she left, PULLED IT OUT when she started driving away, didn't even realize it, and didn't even realize it when it came unplugged from the back end of her car.
When I left, I had to look closely for the orange cord that was laying right by the end of the parking lot.
Congratulations, lady, you're the Idiot of the Day!
