(If you're unsure about what a bad habit is, consider the following; if persuing the activity makes people want to stab you, it's a bad habit.)
Mine is fiddling with my necklaces and earrings, and playing with my hair. I also tap my feet sometimes or drum my fingers. I've also got this habit of, if I see piles of loose change, in piling it up in neat columns. Must stem from working in retail. :D

I second the playing with my hair thing :)
I also rub my scalp, which started i think after a beach trip when i got a load of sand in my hair.
Very hard to break once youve got the habit.

While listening to music, I like to tap my hands to the music, as if I was playing the drums. My stepdad does it too. It annoys the crap out of my mom.

I've always chewed ice, ever since I can remember...if it's in the glass it usually gets chewed. I don't really even think about it anymore.
Most of my friends are used to it by now...
I guess it's a symptom of pica, though I don't eat anything else odd.

Yup Yup. I rub and pick at my scalp a lot, especially when I'm bored or nervous. The only fix I've found is to go to the salon for frequent shampoo/scalp massages, because they make my scalp feel so good and clean I don't fidget with it for a day or so afterwards.
I'm very very fidgety- drives my husband nuts, because as soon as I stop fidgeting one way, I'll start doing something else.

I also crack my neck, fingers, toes and ankles.

When I get stressed or excited, I get manic. We're talking talking about 2 million miles a minute, hand gestures out to wazoo. Everything is a DIRE EMERGENCY! I just need someone to verbally hit me over the head so I realize what I'm doing, and calm down some. No one at work has been brave enough to do that yet.

I chew on my lips. It's a nerves thing I think. Or when I'm deep in concentration. Most of the time I don't realize I'm doing it. It's kinda embarrasing b/c people ask me what the heck I'm chewing on my face for and then I stop.

If I see any object that looks like a ball, I end up kicking it around (Used to be a soccer player and it still sticks.) Another one is that if I hear a song, I start doing an air guitar.

Guilty of knuckle-cracking and pen-clicking here. Also the "apologize for everything" type (I've had supervisors tell me to please knock that one off. I'm working on it.)

I'm constantly checking my cell phone. Especially since I got this new cell phone. It doesn't virbate as hard as my last one does, so sometimes I feel like I'm missing a text or something. (Or in some cases, I'm waiting for a gross story and someone's phone decides it hates me and won't send!!)
I can be all ready to go out with friends and I'll see myself in the mirror and decide that it's not the look I'm going for. Then I'll change. And sometimes, I don't pick out a new outfit right away.
I'm a chain smoker when I drink. It's horrible. It's not uncommon for me to burn through a pack a night. (Good news is, I don't crave it at all when I'm not drinking. Not even as I talk about it.)
That's all I can think of.

I can understand the chronic apologizing. I do it as well. Must go with my wildly wavering self-esteem.
I tend to talk really fast, and, at times really quiet. I occasionally stutter as I can't think of the right word to say ("What's that stuff called...oh yes...food."). And, the biggie, I (and ofters) often find myself talking to myself. I do this a lot, to the point where the guy in the next room wondered if I was hiding someone under my bed. Oh dear...
I'm also an internet junkie, and often find myself checking the same sites over and over again a day.
I talk to myself too. Well, mostly I mumble things to myself. Very bad habit of mine. Sometimes customers go, "what?" when I say something to myself without realizing it. I tend to pace if I have nothing to do. When I get nervous, I wring my hands.

I constantly fidget with things, too. Usually it's pens, my cell phone, ligters or other handy objects, but if none is available I start plucking at my eyebrows with my fingers.
When I was younger, it was my lower lip that got plucked and pulled on, but I moved on to eyebrows for some reason.

I have hard skin on my fingertips from playing the guitar, and when I'm stressed, I pick at it. It's pretty gross. I also pick at scabs.
I've always chewed ice
I guess it's a symptom of pica, though I don't eat anything else odd.Actually, it is covered under the label of pica, but it's more of a concern because it is possible that it's a symptom of iron deficiency or anemia. Have you had your blood checked?

I can never seem to finish model cars for some reason. I'll spend ages putting most of the parts together...but stall when it's time to spray paint onto the bodyshells. Usually, that's when I get bored, and start something else. Anyone remember that '58 Chevy Impala that I'm supposedly working on?

I chew ice, but I never linked it with my anemia.
I smoke. Most people are shocked to find this one out, since I have been told that I don't look or smell like a smoker.
I chew my nails and have for as long as I can remember.
If I have a necklace on I will fidget with it.
That's all I can think of right now.

I pick at my nails. I also tend to become defensive, apologizing too much, etc.

Oh I thought of a few more  I sing to myself a lot, very quietly  and when I get really nervous I will fiddle with a necklace, ring or any piece of jewelry or if I dont have any on I will twirl my hair around my finger(did that a lot as a kid, which resulted in several odd haircuts:lol:)

Hmmm...let's see...
excessive apologizing
smoking
fiddling with my necklaces
checking to make sure I still have two earrings in each ear
Others, I'm sure, since I'm not close to perfect.
