So, Friday night I got rather dizzy. It was late, and I was rather tired, so I blamed it on that. Saturday morning, I left work after an hour because I was afraid I was going to fall and hurt myself. I spent Saturday on the couch, reading, watching tv, and napping. I felt fine while I was lying down, so I decided to run to a nearby Chinese place to get supper, as I didn't feel like cooking. By the time I got back I couldn't walk in a straight line. I called out of work this morning on the principle of "It's better safe than sorry", and today was a repeat of yesterday. Up to and including the part where I felt good enough to walk someplace to get food, and was weaving by the time I got back. I'm going to take a stab at work tomorrow, as I really can't afford to miss another day, but I'm nearly positive that I'll have to leave. Definitely going to call the doctor when I do. This is fucking ridiculous.

You! Doctor! Now!
 I hope it's something minor like an ear infection.

I second the doctor idea. And I'd also suggest maybe Dramamine, to see if it helps.
I used to have dizzy spells in college, usually due to iron-deficiency anemia (I never ate enough red meat/iron rich foods when I depended on dorm food) and blood sugar issues, but never anything lasting several days.
Feel better!

Thirded. Doctor. You may well be having blood pressure issues - as in low. Or ear infection, really deep in.

4th. There's a couple of deficiencies that cause dizzy spells. Iron and Potassium. Both are real dangerous if they get low. As well as ear infections, low blood pressure, etc. There's nothing good with dizzy spells

I'm actually feeling much better today. I went to work with no problems. I'm still going to call my Doc, though.
Thanks guys.

I don't care if you can now dance the can can whilst juggling live chainsaws and fighting off flying monkeys armed with fully automatic weaponry, Dr. Now. (;))
(what I'm meaning was you shouldn't have gone before this was checked out as I'm aware the OP was going to contact Dr after going back to work)

It sure sounds like you could have an inner-ear infection. That will affect your balance and cause dizziness. My daughter had one a few years ago and the doctor recommended that she take Dramamine until it was cleared up. She, also, was OK as long as she was sitting or lying down, but when she tried to walk she would get very dizzy and needed help to walk across a room. You should definitely see a doctor, as this will not clear up on its own and will get continually worse until it is treated.
