Currently very very pissed off about this and really needed to rant....it has to do with animals and not religion.
So my mom goes to church with this lady. She's one of those ladies that you probably find in every religion ever. If you don't help her out then you're not Christian/(insert religion of choice) enough. She's honestly said that when people won't do her favors. And she expects a lot of them. For some reason, my mom became her helper of choice and for some reason my mom is too nice to say no though I know she doesn't really care if this woman doesn't think she's very "Christian". She calls mom all the time. That in and of itself has made me loath this woman...but as of tonight I'm seeing red.
So my family gets home from all of us seeing a movie and there is a voice mail from her (we'll call her M). It starts out with M saying "I really hate to bother you on a Monday night" which we all sigh about because it's bullshit. The message says that Sam is stuck again and could she please come over and help.
I ask my mom what this means. So M has a lot of pets that her daughter just had to have. She is also a very tiny lady. Her daughter is now away at a boot camp type thing. Sam is the dog. It turns out that M has been keeping Sam on a coiled wire type lead in the back room so that he can't go into the rest of the house. He keeps getting his paw caught in the lead. Last time mom went over there the leg was squeezed thin and the paw was really swollen.
So after this happened, she has put the dog on the lead again knowing that he gets caught. I really want to drive over there and yell at her and take the damn dog. I really want to get that dog taken away from her. I highly doubt she gives a damn about those pets. I don't get why people think they can do shit like that. I’m going to be having a talk with my mom when she gets back. I didn't try to stop her from going tonight because the dog needs to be helped and untangled. Not helping my mom out with any favors for this woman again though.
