I can go to the control panel of any computer on the network at work (we have access to this for troubleshooting purposes).

The nice thing is that the person who is using the PC will have NO idea..

(For those of you who don't know, the control panel gives you the ability to close out their applications, amongst other things. I can close out Internet Explorer while they are trying to read something, or close out one of their applications that they are trying to use...)

I once had my computer taken over by the system administrator in the middle of doing something. Apparently a web site I went to (I had to find publishers and other sites a lot in my old position) had a virus, so they got notified and had to access my computer remotely. It was about a half hour before I was supposed to leave, so I think they thought I had already gone for the day. But I hadn't.

Heehee . . . the fun part of the control panel is the display properties. One can change the color scheme to whatever they create.

We had a coworker back at WD Cone who would do that to the one in the office just to aggravate Mohair (the manager.) It was nothing to have a red window and the text coming up green.:lol:
