I have this new avatar that my daughter found. I wanted to use it but I didn't want to offend the kitty lovers out there. I don't know where it came from but I thought that it was a little mean myself.

It'd be pretty easy. Just pull the trigger. Dogs are so much better than cats anyway lol.

I got a chuckle out of that. All through, I just can't see a kitten killing themself without having corpses all round them first ;)

I also love amusing pictures of kittens. I have a great postcard stuck to my fridge, with a picture of a cat in a jar of spaghetti.

i can't get over the sad look in the kittens eyes....its a sad picture that my mother would probably love to have since she hates cates.

My 2¢:
Although an animal lover and VERY fond of cats, I *can* take a joke on the subject. OTOH, having lost a close relative to gunshot suicide, this particular image does trouble me somewhat. I can deal with it by scrolling past it quickly, but it's not something I'm really happy to see.

Never quite figured out how a person can love a dog but not a cat (or vice versa). I guess I love em both and kinda makes me sad when I hear somebody say "Oh I HATE ______".

Now I admit I am not overly fond of ferrets, but I would never hurt one, and if one ended up on my doorstep, well I guess I would learn to like ferrets. I do however draw the line at snakes. Again, wouldn't hurt one, but if I had to take care of one, I would quickly find it another home. Uck.

I don't really like it very much, to be honest. Not just because I'm a cat lover (where are that cat's ears?) but because the pseudo-suicide image disturbs me. I like your current av better - that's just bizarre !

I don't mind it at all; I do however have a couple of far better cat pics you could use instead. I love kitties. ^^

As a cat lover, I appreciate the joke and think the picture is cute. However, joking about killing/suicide is not funny, even if it is a cat.

I like Lace's last image. But Lace, what the heck is that thing in 'you make kitty scared between kitty's left paw and chin? It's white and furry with a pink centre. Nowhere near the ears. Not a part of the paw from the look of it. I'm very confused.

That's the kitty's 'thumb' some cats have an extra digit on their front paws.
