Happy Good Friday, anyone who isn't working right now (anyone who is, have a good day anyway)!
Describe the perfect day off for you.
Right now, I'm sitting at home, reading the forums in between passages from The Dead Zone, listening to jazz.
Oh holy crap, one of my favorite jazz songs ("Four") came on!
This really makes up for my girlfriend breaking up with me. :)

Wow...
All it takes for you to recover from a breakup is a day off and some Jazz? Go you!
I'd be mad about working while people have off..
Except that I'm on a client's computer on CUSTOMERSUCK.COM... while being paid..

We weren't together that long, nor were we very close.
Still friends, though. :)
The perfect day off is every Friday. Well, every Friday that it DOESN'T snow...today kind of sucks.
I do my laundry and chill at my parents' house, play with my pets, watch Golden Girls.......on the way home get some fast food......log on to here and tune into Tyra and the noon news and then DOOL (Days Of Our Lives) and then the OC then more Golden Girls (or more OC) then Judge Judy....
Then it's out to dinner with best bud and then out to the bars!
I LOVE Fridays! Except today, cuz it's snowing. But I'm trying to make the best of it.

That thought has gotten me through MANY a 16 hour day..

Being on vacation, visiting my family in WI.
Other than that, let's see...
Waking up at 9 am or so, checking to see who's on MSN and/or Yahoo Messenger for me to talk with for a while...well, not having to go to work. :p

The perfect day off is one with NOTHING to do!!
I slept all damn day today.
Actually I don't really like doing that cuz I always end up with a headache. But it feels so good up until that point. Then I took a walk over to 7-11 across the street to get a soda, came home and made a Stouffer's French Bread pizza, watched some TV and messed around on the computer a bit.
Tomorrow I'm going to get my hair cut, which I haven't done since before Christmas. I'm thinking of letting it grow out a bit but the front bits need a trim. I might have to do some laundry, too, tho...

I had today off, actually, which is rare. I almost never have Fridays off.
And while it was not the perfect day off, it was pretty cool. I didn't clean my room as I planned, and didn't go out tonight to mingle with the Spring Breakers. But I did:
--Sleep in and watch tv through the morning until 1.
--Make a nice big fat deposit in my bank from the week's tips.
--Take my two youngest nieces to lunch, and got to know my newest niece a bit better
--Get my revolting bathroom looking presentable. No, *I* didn't clean it....said nieces did. And yes, I paid them cash, thank you very much. They did a great job.
--Work up a piece of writing I have been thinking about for a while.
--Watch more tv, including finally seeing the movie Hoot. Which was actually quite a hoot. Pun intended.
Not a bad Friday off. Very lazy, very relaxing.

Spend much of the morning lying in bed, then get up, have some coffee, maybe do a bit of work in the backyard. Then have a bunch of friends over to play D&D, or Serenity, or whatever pen-and-paper RPG one of the GMs has stuff prepared for.

Oh, man. I haven't had a day off in a while. I suppose that I would:
1) Sleep in
2) Have my morning coffee
3) Bum around CS.com and the interwebs
4) Play some Guitar Hero
5) Play some WoW
6) Do nothing more stressful tha deciding between reading a Car and Driver or watching PTI.
