Hey Gang..
In the vein of "I have..." and "I have not...", I just thought I'd throw this one up...
It's - which 3 bands (perhaps albums) normally would go on your CD or record player.
This isn't about what 3 bands you think are the best (after all - Led Zeppelin and Beatles etc may be considered 'the best', but wouldn't necessarily hit the turn-tables too often!) Besides - though I'm a big fan of Jethro Tull, it doesn't hit the system as much as the others (except maybe Thick as a Brick or Aqualung).
Nor is it about who has the best taste in music (because, let's face it, I do :P)
So.. to get things mozzeying along...
1 Blind Guardian - usually Nightfall in Middle Earth or Somewhere Far Beyond or Imaginations from the Other Side.
2 Gamma Ray - probably Insanity and Genius or Somewhere Out in Space
3 Clannad - usually Banbha or Lore (can't get enough of I Will Find You)
Next......

Back when I listened to CD's. I would have CD's that I had burned music onto. So I really couldn't answer that question.

In my car CD player is a mix CD that I burned from my iTunes. It contains bands like Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Papa Roach, and the like. Also a few songs from RENT and one from Wicked that I threw on there for the hell of it. But I haven't listened to it in a while.
Usually I listen to my iPod, which is usually shuffling among the ~650 songs I currently have on it. Though I've been skipping a lot and listening to Adam Pascal a lot lately (he was in the original casts of RENT and Aida and has 2 albums of his own). Also George Carlin.

I have a habbit of redoing my playlist in my ipod about once a week or so. I also have a habbit of mainly loading only entire albums on it. This is made easy by having a metric F-Ton of music on a external hard drive (I've just about filled up a 500gb drive so far) and I'm still in the process of converting my existing CD's over into MP3's (and then gonna start on friends and family members discs as well).
But right now the top 3 listened to albums on my ipod for this load up are.
Straight outta Lynwood - Weird Al
FNG - Suicidal Tendancies
American Beauty - Grateful Dead

yeah... if u like Oakenfold , there is a compilation series you should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --
it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance style.....
here's the direct iTunes link to the "Euro Club Hits" series.....
