But no working phone number. Yes everyone, I purchased a new fancy phone without having a working phone number. But before you start smacking me around, my phone number should become active in the next 2 weeks. I just got service through MCI.
I wanted Bellsouth to bundle my service (LD and Local phone, cable and internet) but I owe them about $400.00.
This phone's owners manual is almost 100 pages long. It has everything that I need in a phone, answering machine, speaker phone, cordless, caller ID, intercom/paging, 2 handsets (expandable to 4), pre recorded ring tones (like a cellphone), wall mountable, and a cool flashing antenna.
I did want two lines on the phone but that meant two phone numbers, which means two charges on the bill. I can do without.
Did anyone else ever buy something that they couldn't use right away, and had to wait a couple of weeks?
