This is just a little shout-out to some of the various assholes I've had the pleasure to share the road with this week.
1. Seriously? Why does it say "Hit and Run 4x4" on your 'neckmobile? What is that? I can't figure out how to construe that in a good light. Is that your history? Your intent? Your blatant and tragic stupidity and ignorance? Son: your parents may have been siblings, but for frig's sake, think! Do you think the next cop that gets you for playing mailbox baseball is gonna think "Hit and Run" emblazoned across the top of your windshield is hilarious?
2. MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION: I'm just doing a little logic puzzle here, assholes on Highway 1. If I am in the right lane of a double lane road, and I put my left blinker on, which is less trouble for you if you want to get around me:
a. suddenly switch lanes, speeding up so you can bust ass to get around me effectively cutting me off from where I want to go, floor it in heavy traffic nearly hitting the cars ahead, force yourself into the lane I'm trying to get into, speed past me, squeeze into the lane in front of me forcing everyone to suddenly adjust for you, and then tailgate the poor bastard that was in front of me; or
b. wait a nanosecond while I switch lanes and am therefore no longer in the lane you want to be in.
3. Do you really think you should be crossing a double yellow line in order to use the NORTHBOUND LANE'S TURNING LANE when you are southbound? Isn't that technically what we call "driving down the wrong fucking side of the road?" Don't look at me like I'm the asshole when I honk at you, asshole. I'm in my fucking lane. Or at least, what's left of it.

Yeah my wife almost hit someone because they flew in front of her and hit their brakes. Just so happened to be one of those "Michi-gan-derrrrr" drivers. I notice they make it a serious point to take their bad driving habits with them when they leave the state.

I drive a commercial van for work with my company's logo on the side. You'd never imagine how agressive drivers are towards me when I drive it. I can't drive form Ft Lauderdale to West Palm without at least three assholes hjumping in front of me then slamming on their brakes for no reason, several cutting me off very closely, and 1-2 very slow assholes in one lane jumping in front of me just before I pass them.
And don't get me started on @$$holes who can't talk and drive.

Emphasis added.
I would wager pretty good odds that these, or at least some of them, are doing it deliberately, hoping to get you to hit them, so that they can collect insurance from your company. I know that where I live, in a 2-car, same-direction accident, it's generally assumed that the person behind is at fault because they should have been paying more attention. However, in cases like this, I'm sure a case could be made to defend against idiots like this, whether it's deliberate or not.

I agree 100%. The issue is that my van is white and the logo is black. I have about a one year lease left on it and I get a new vehicle. Luckily the newer ones aren't as obvious, dark gray mid-range SUVs with a black logo, they look much nicer and the logo isn't as obvious.

Ooh! Another crappy drivers thread! I have stories to share after today, somewhat sadly.
The world's oldest Jeep
On my way out to the doctor, I decided to take "the back way" which involves a few roads with 45mph speed limits and only one lane each way - somewhat risky, as they're mostly no passing zones.
As I'm heading towards the intersection where I intend to turn left over some train tracks, the oldest Jeep I've ever seen pulls out, very slowly, in front of me, cutting me off and forcing me to slow WAY down rather quickly. He then winds up in the turn lane in front of me (there are two left turn lanes, I'm being responsible and staying in the one that will turn into the turn lane I need once I turn, if that makes sense :o) and once the light turns green, turns so slowly that the light actually cycles from green to yellow to red while we're still crossing the intersection. The two cars in the other turn lane cut in front of him. Joy.
Then, after I follow him onto the next road, it takes nearly half a mile for him to get up to the speed limit. I'm trying very hard to be a good girl, staying a car length back, and paying for it by being tailgated by some bitch in a minivan.
When the road finally opens up into extra lanes, Jeep boy (now on his cell phone) proceeds to drive down the middle of two lanes for a bit before choosing a lane so I can get around him. And with that, he eats my dust, and I thankfully make it through the next light while he is still half a mile behind me. All that only doing 5mph over the limit.
I'm thinking that wasn't such a great idea...
On my way out to pick up dinner on my break from work. Driving up a major road, at this point, 2 lanes on either side, 1.5 lane wide median in the center. There is cleanup from an accident going on - a car being loaded onto a tow truck with a cop car maybe 1.5 car lengths back from the tow truck. Once the car was loaded up, the tow truck driver stepped out behind the truck with a broom to sweep up debris.
I watched a car pull out of a Wendy's to turn left across the median and pull IN BETWEEN the front of the cop car and the back of the tow truck, within a few feet of the driver who was sweeping up debris. I was only sad that the cop was busy with paperwork and didn't go after the idiot. :(

It's a car club. Well, actually, a truck club, but you get the idea. They're likely not very big/very tech, since they have no real online presence. All I could find was a reference on the profile of some high school kid in Gilbert, SC.

Ah, that makes a little more sense. Thanks for the tip, I never heard of that.
Still wouldn't want it emblazoned across my vehicle, though.

Dear people who don't pay attention:
DO NOT BACK UP IN THE SUNPASS LANES
Seriously, is a $100 fine worth getting into a huge accident in the Sunpass lanes (Sunpass = tolls are pre-paid). The speed limit in these lanes are still a 55MpH zone and I bet people are still doing 70-80MpH. That will create one HELL of an accident.
(About 2 miles before the tolls there are HUG signs THIS LANE ONLY FOR SUNPASS.
About 1/2 - 3/4 the highway splits, cash to the right and sunpass to the left.
So, these idiots are backing up on the highway (very small breakdown lane here, too) that far.

I seen a guy today pull a U-turn on the highway, he had apparently missed his exit and turned around from the center lane to the breakdown lane traveling against traffic to get back to the exit. Granted there were only 3 other cars on the road as it was early morning, it was still a dumb move.
