Is is possible to change your name? Or to make it so that the other party doesn't know what your name is when you buy something from them?

I asked my husband, who knows a great deal about these things, and he said: "The name you use on your PayPal account must match the name on the credit card associated with that account."

You can change your name, but it's a pain in the ass. (we're still wating for the contact name change to go through that we initiated a couple weeks ago)

The best way to not have your name show is to have a business account, but that's not something everybody wants to pay for.
