RetailWorkhorses Thread (http://www.customerssuck.com/board/showthread.php?t=29022) reminded me of this.
I have heard the stories of the Horror that is Pink Camo... And I thought an Ocean away I was safe! I WAS WRONG!
I was on the train and minding my own business when a 'lady" got on the train...She was 5 foot tall and 7 foot wide dressed from head to toe in Pink Camo..
Pink Camo singlet *shudder* Pink Camo HAT! Pink Camo Denim Jacket, Pink Camo 3/4 Pants, and PINK CAMO SHOES!!!! I was so horrified I just stared.. I was too shocked to take a photo so I could share the horror with you all! If I see her again I will because I don't want to suffer alone!
Oh no....I just ate....

Yeah that was kinda the general feeling on the train too
Thank goodness I don't ride the train. The only trains around here go "choo choo" and rattle my parents' house like an earthquake.
The worst I've seen lately was Friday after I got my car back. This auto shop is by the part of downtown where lots of....weirdos are. There was a man walking down the street wearing blue spandex pants, platform sandals, and a shirt with flowers on it.

Oh so you spotted me! HI! Just kidding. I wouldn't wear blue spandex pants if you paid me.
The platform sandals and shirt with flowers however....depends on the flower really, and I have a pair of "baby-doll" shoes for Cross-Play.

And she wasn't in Nanuvut? I have yet to see the pink camo in full force. I've only seen it on racks in stores, but I have yet to see it walking around in public.

Am I a sick, disturbed person for wishing there was a picture of this?

Absolutely not, every time I see the title of this thread when perusing this part of the board - I wish there was a picture.
Morbid curiousity. I has it.

If you google pink camouflage you'll get more than a lion's share of results...and it's not pretty.

I am in Australia! I am 15,721 kilometers or 9769 miles from Nunavut -->Proof I am weird enough to look this up! (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/distanceresult.html?p1=677&p2=240)
I THOUGHT I WAS SAFE!!!
Am I a sick, disturbed person for wishing there was a picture of this?
Quite Possibly... But thats ok! We all are! I wish I had had the foresight to take a photo with my phone!

I forgot to mention in my original post that none of the camo matched!
Also I think the place where that hat came from might be the source or GK's Nunavut calls... seriously lots of hats and lots of pants...

Ewwwwww...clashing shades of pink? :puke:
I mean, if she alternated pink camo with black/gray/white, it might be almost tolerable, but...

This was an entire outfit of pink Camo that clashed. I dont know what possessed her to wear it!

"But we wish we couldn't! Oh Buddha do we wish!"
I'm thinking maybe Pink Cammo is the color for Nunavut's military.......

Maybe her whole house is pink and she just couldn't see it...?
I dont know what possessed her to wear it!
Maybe she just felt like wearing whatever she darn well wanted to wear?

True that.
Not saying that I like the pink cammo but, really, my sense of style doesn't have to be anyone else's.
Too bad we can't be as accepting of others as we expect them to be of us.

Funnily enough, pink camo does/did have its uses.
In WW2, the SAS used pink and desert camoflage painted land rovers in Africa when they first formed, earning those the nickname Pink Panthers or Pinkies. Even to this day, pinkies have been used in desert conflicts by the SAS.
Although, they were more salmony than neon pink.

Im all for wearing what you want to wear! I varey between almost preppy to almost "goth" depending on my mood. Im all for individuality in clothing.
What she was wearing was her choice... however my eye balls really hurt looking at her (so I tried not to look)
