So I had a dream a few nights ago that I was at a minor league baseball game. Some major disaster happened and I and everyone in the stands I was in was killed. Some kind of explosion or earthquake or something. I think more explosion than anything else. And I remember right before it happened seeing a coworker of mine sitting next to me on the stands.

Not ten minutes ago I was in an employee meeting and they announced that instead of doing our normal annual company picnic, they’re going to take everyone to the Aquasox game…a minor league baseball game. I’ve been with the company for five years and they have NEVER done this.

Seriously, I still have goosebumps…

Sciencetists are still trying to figure out why we get that. You know Deju vu? Sadly, its not the matrix resetting, its because you did dream it, just not remembering it right away. (Well, thats the theory anyway).

Alot of people dreamt that titantic would sink. It did. Not saying something bad will happen at the game. But something you might wanna think about. Might wanna tell the coworker you saw. With all the bad weather the world has been having, something minor might happen.

I'd be spooked enough (and believing enough in precognitive dreams) not to go.

Don't go, and try to talk that co-worker out of going, too. It may be just a wild coincidence, but I wouldn't be willing to take that risk.

Yeah, I'm not going to go. I actually just IM'd her and asked her not to go, and told her why. Thankfully she's one of my better coworkers so she didn't laugh at me *rofl*

So now that I've scared her to death, she's not going to go either. Now watch...nothing happens and I'll feel like an idiot *laugh*

Better to look like an idiot and be safe rather than not.

Yeah, but if you don't go and something does happen - you have cheated death and according to that movie - Final Destination - it will find you and make you pay for cheating it!

Still - I would NOT go!

It may be just a wild coincidence,

I'll go with that, with 6 billion or so people in this world, each having dreams every day (night) every 90 minutes of sleep or so so in an average 8 hours sleep you'll get at least 5 seperate episodes of dreaming per night.

So in the course of a year there will be around 10,957,500,000,000 seperate dream sets world wide (of course dreams end/begin but there's no quantifiable number there). I would be more suprised if there were never any coincidences at all.

Hope that helps! :)

I had a nightmare last night. It involved aliens taking over Earth, me being a Jedi, and us getting our butts whooped. I killed a lot of aliens, but in the end, we were screwed and as they started the ground invasion, I woke up scared as hell. I haven't been so scared in God knows how long. Took me a while to get back to sleep.

*coughhalocough*

*coughhalo3cough*

Thing is even if you don't play it I'm sure you know someone who has, at some point, mentioned it so its locked in your brain, waiting to come out...

I've beaten both Halo 1 & 2, but I'm only 3 levels in for Halo 3.

My husband attended an Oakland A's game on a fireworks night. When they have fireworks, they have everyone in the bleachers move onto the field, as the fireworks are set off from behind the bleachers. During this game, one of the fireworks supports fell and the rocket went straight into the crowd, including my husband and my children. No one was seriously hurt, but you never what might happen at a baseball game.

I'm not sure what to think.

Some dreams have significant meaning. A week or so ago, Ree posted about dreams of work. Dreams like that usually signify too much stress and anxiety. That's about as real as real can get.

Then we have those crazy dreams about zombies, monsters, flesh eating babies, a man's head with a cane and sticks for arms and legs (don't ask)........I tend to chalk the death and gory dreams up to my mind resting. Because dreaming is how your mind relaxes. If you are over stressed, you'll have dreams like Ree had and what I used to have when I was a trainer. Vivid gory dreams can also signify problems at work or in personal or family relationships, like tension.

I really don't read too much into the crazy dreams. Those of us who think and over analyze too much tend to have those kinds of dreams, and it's the only way our minds can relax.

I take my Vision-Dreams very seriously, seeing as I've had dreams and they happen (I got one that just happened, that I dreamed about a year ago, so I've documented it).

But then I also feel that if one thing is out of place then it won't happen quite the same way. :)

I have Deja Vu all the time. BF hates it.
