I thought that this series was more equal than I thought is would be. Don't get me wrong, Detroit was the better team, but I wouldn't have surprised me if Detroit would have swept the series.

Pens surprised me. Fluery was impressive. Good lord I haven't been more annoyed (and impressed) at a goaltender than Fleury.

I just came home from a concert at a bar, when the crappy bands were on and during intermission a bunch of us were crowded around the TV annoyed that they kept interrupting for severe weather (the show was in the basement of a larger hall). I was one of two redwings fans there, the bartender jokingly cut me off when the clock hit zero and I started gloating!

I also won a $1 bet with a friend we made in the 2nd period, so I'm drunk and feeling all proud right now!

Not much of a hockey fan since there's no local NHL team, but congrats. Bet this takes some of the sting out of Chelsea losing a couple weeks ago, eh?

Stupid Penguins. Took them long enough to lose. Once the game hit 3-1, I went to bed. Glad to see I'm not disappointed.

I watched the last few minutes of the game and was thinking about you, ArenaBoy. :) I was rooting for the Red Wings, since it was the Penguins that put Ottawa out this year.

Then again, my poor Sens sort of did it to themselves. They really choked during the last part of the season this year.

That was some crazy close call in the last few minutes, wasn't it?

Also, I'd just like to say that Crosby's moustache was....ill-advised, to say the least. :lol:

For those who truly hate Crosby. Also, it's nice getting CBC over here. I was getting sick and tired of the constant praise for Pittsburgh on N(othing)B(ut)C(rosby).
