As of June 5th hubby and I have a new arrival at our house! :D Emily Ann was born at 7:30 pm and weighed 8 lbs 3 oz...oy vay.

Amusingish story though.

I'm still in the hospital for now until tomorrow evening. Originally this all started with what was supposed to be a weekly checkup, and my doc said I was in labor and needed to haul butt to the hospital. :P Oops.

So of course I get there and stay at 4cm for HOURS. Docs suggest I be induced due to my diabetes and my low blood pressure. I tried to warn them that with my last kid, when they induced me I had the kid within 15 minutes. Hehe...they still went through with it.

Forty five minutes later Emily was born. No drugs either, lmao!

I may try and post some pics of her later....but not sure if anyone wants to see the red raisin of wonder that is still the newborn baby, lol.

Congratulations. Can't wait to see pics...red raisin or no. :p

If it makes you feel any better, my friend's nephew was born on May 28, and weighed a little over 9 pounds.

I love the name, too. Very pretty.

No time...lmao....they started to give me this Nubain stuff that was supposed to "take the edge" off the pain. I'm not sure if they managed to get it in my IV before they had to go running to grab the doctor.

I would've just flat out given up and died. :( I'm a very tiny person...this baby was a rather large one for me, LOL.

My wife went natural when she had Ashley hehehe this one she want's the drugs.

And hell I might just try to convince the doctors that I need drugs too :p

Geesh, I'm impressed. Fidget was only 6lbs 5 oz and I needed the DRUGS!

CONGRATSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see pics!! My little guy was born April 15th, and was only 5lbs 9oz, by emergency c-section.

I can't wait to see pics hon, my red raisen pic is what I take to work everyday

I have a red raisin pic of my friend's nephew on my phone (she sent it to me; I haven't met him yet).

Oh, and my cousin's son was 10lb 1 oz. (He's 16 now and has his learner's permit :eek:)

I was only 5 pounds (ok, like 5 1/2 lbs) and my mom, she was just the tiniest lady, 5'2 (at the time) and about 95-100 lbs soaking wet, I cannot fathom how she didn't rip apart having my 10 lb baby brother. His head was the size of a damn grapefruit!

I guess that's just one of the many reasons the human body is an amazing thing!

We want pics, please!

My mom's about 5'1"; I was 6lb 9oz, my brother was 8lb 11oz. I always say that's why I'm her favorite. :D
