Mine was fine... I hadn't even noticed til I turned on the radio (about noon) and they said something about it.

Funny - I'm pagan, and not superstitious... what's that say?

Mixed. My bank charged me two overdraft fees because they made a mistake setting up my account, but I was able to correct it, but the refund will take until Monday or maybe as long as Tuesday. There was an angry tailgating SUV on my arse all the way to work making rude gestures, but I didn't mind too much since I just called his license plate in to our state's aggressive driving hotline. Yes, I was in the left lane and going not a ridiculously fast speed, but I was going 10 mph over the speed limit and faster than the next lane to the right.... until he started making rude gestures at me, at which point I slowed down to the exact speed limit.

So far no major bad luck, though-- that all came on Monday when I got the bill for my car repair :cry:

My luck has been pretty bad.

I found out that I drew a piece wrong. Nobody noticed it while checking it, and then no one noticed while fabricating it.

So it went to the jobsite wrong, and required a lot of work to make it right. The owner of the company is convinced the piece is going to fall down over the weekend and kill someone.

Oh - I no longer have a loan now :D (although, I put the last payment in on Thursday through the net, but it hadn't shown up yet - but the teller said she'd deal with it so I don't have to go back in to finalise it all :D). And then I managed to change my credit card down to the low interest one... I had been told I'd need a full application some months ago, this time it was one form (which they printed) and a couple of ticks and a signature...


So all in all - probably a better than average day! :D


(then I get to work, and I see an email about cigarette butts and litter being a big no-no out on the footpath, cos the council got a complaint and the company has had a warning type thing. That complaint would have been from me :D)

It's the greatest thing ever! I just call *CSP (Colorado State Patrol) and describe the situation. Dispatch determines if there is serious immediate danger to motorists and if so dispatches a patrol car; otherwise, the information goes in a file and if multiple complaints are filed about the same driver, he or she will get a postcard informing them that reports have been made of aggressive driving and that if they continue driving aggressively they are endangering themselves and others and may get a fine. After enough complaints, they DO get a fine, though they can contest it and take defensive driving classes instead, I believe.

It saves me soooo much stress on the road; I don't get angry at other drivers for being jerks anymore. I just call their plates in and smile serenely as they weave away down the highway leaving a trail of *SKREEE.... HONK!* in their wake.

I don't need a special day to get bad luck. I get enough of it just from existing.....I swear someone casted a spell on me a few years ago...

Although today so far *knock wood* has been incident free......but I'm sure that will change as soon as Sheriff gets home and bf takes too long getting ready and we miss our movie.

With the week I've been having, that was about the last thing I needed to hear. :p

Biggest truck in my store's history on Tuesday and Wednesday, then about 5 inches of rain yesterday. That's the most rain I've ever seen fall here in my life.

What's next? Locusts?

So far my luck has been a mix of good and bad; though in the long run, mostly good.

I accidently paid my Geico bill twice; the rep I spoke to said if I wanted to, I could keep the charges there and basically not pay for the next month's installment. Huzzah!

I got my 70$ refunded from Frys today; they said it would take 72 hours but refunded it faster.

My bank balance is currently .68 but I get paid soon and I already did my shopping for the next two weeks. I'm okay.

Friday the 13th is generally a really really good day for me. If this is as bad as my day is going to get then all I can do is finish my work day, go home and have a nice cold one. :)

The luck over here has been mixed... nothing particularly bad yet (I add the yet because I still have my night audit job which is where things can go from bad to worse a lot quicker... at least here if it gets bad I can always pawn it off on someone else)... so far it's been a lot of small things, we've all had more cancellations than normal, been a lot more misdirected calls than normal, and for some reason our phones aren't tracking our stats properly (specifically we are all showing higher aftercall work than we really have... I had one coworker who at the end of her first hour on the phone had 65 minutes of aftercall... that wouldn't even be possible if she just sat in aftercall the entire time).
Otherwise it's been a normal day... no major EWs (that reminds me I still need to post a story from yesterday), no major SCs... so yeah, not bad.

Text messages getting eaten in the air.
Power outs because of thunderstorms.
A near fight between two SCs in a Canadian Tire store nearby.

Though, I did get a new cordless drill and toaster. Both work well.

I had a good day. Washed dishes, drank tea, did laundry, day-to-day stuff.

My parents wound up 400$ in the hole somehow so I gave them some money (I'm their piggy bank).

Only problem is I have next to zero service in my areas cell-phone wise and I get on the web on my computer via my phone.

Which is about to die.

Well, everything started fine till I got to work. My computer is still not fixed, even though they told BossMan that it was, it still won't connect to our server.

All our programs were either not working or going slower than a snail taking a nap.

My friend got a huge payment, but all I got is people hanging up on me when I answered the phone or had their kid talk to me while they told them what to say in the background.

The 'last payment on my loan to close it out' - got rejected by the bank. Yes, I had the funds in the bank. Yes, the numbers were correct.

And right now, after already spending 25 minutes finding out why... no-one knows why!

This is why I hate that bank and am trying desperately to get as far away from them as possible!
