Phantom PMs?

I got 11 or 12 emails, saying that I had PMs. I signed on, but I don't have any. :cry:

Unfortunately, I deleted the PM notices without reading them.

Spam, perhaps?

That's weird. We made some changes to shut down the PM spammers awhile back, but that should stop the notices as well.

I don't suppose you remember who they were from?

OK, if it happens again, check that. We've been banning quite a few spammers lately, which you wouldn't see thanks to the moderation system we have in place, or "Trollguard" as Raps likes to call it. ;)

It's from the temporary forums. I got them as well - old software with many explooits for spammers. Am intending deleting the board and database.

Ok- I am not awake yet . . .
I saw PMS - my brain didn't catch that the s was lowercase . .
Just thinking - hmm a new spam toward females . . .computer now tells them when they are PMS'ing
But it will also get sent to male's - I know this because I constantly get enlargement of specific body part I don't posses e-mails
