View Full Version : Probable IOHS, but could use advice

I'm now happily playing with my new DSL setup, and decided to try chat. Read rules, agreed to same, gave it a user name (same as the one I use here), browser claimed it was taking me to chat, got nice blank screen. What went wrong? I'm using Netscape 7.2 on Windows 2k.

wow, netscape browser still around. maybe the java is out-of-date.

try mozilla. it's SO much better.

Mozilla is all I use anymore.

No joy with a fresh download of Mozilla Firefox (same non-result as with Netscape).

The only other thing I can think of is the port is blocked for some reason by your DSL (assuming you're accessing the internet).

Which port should I check? (I'll probably need my husband's help when he gets home.)

Not sure, can't access chat right now. something up with the browser chat.
