A few days ago Google launched Streetview in Australia, and so far I've found my car on there 4 times.
-parked outside my parents house
-in the driveway at my sister's house
-across the street from my apartment building
-in the employee parking area at work

*giggles* So your saying you were in four places at once?

That's a little freaky.
I saw a story about some guy suing Google or something for trespassing in their driveway and taking pictures.

I loves me some Street View. It's AWESOME! When I was apartment hunting, it allowed me to scope out the neighborhoods of potential places. Very nice.

Great way for me to get a good visual of what to look for when I'm heading to an unfamiliar area.

oh yeah... with street view you can see one of my old roommates walking down the street shirtless... I will never let him live that down.

You know it somewhat makes me wonder if that thing has caught someone nude sun bathing yet.
Or better yet if someone has purposely done something trying to get it onto the thing.

I guarantee both.
Hell, *I* might be the person caught nude sunbathing, depending upon when they launched that damn thing.
Whether or not Google will actually SHOW any of the above is another story, of course.

Street View for Tokyo is awesome!! We can see our apartment in several pictures, and some local colour, including the sports car of the guy that always parks in the lot next to our building.

forget Google just ask any veteran delivery driver about apts and neighborhoods. heck I have seen the inside of ALL apt buildings in my area. not that I would live in SOME of them but we know the status.

I checked out Streetview. Very interesting. It seems the Jestermobile is a stealth vehicle. Couldn't find it in any of the usual spots where I park, including in front of my complex. However, I DID see, in front of my complex, My Worst Girlfriend Ever's old car, which gives me a very good idea of when the picture was taken.

I remember when they first announced the drive arounds, then forgot. So I was a little stunned when I went to "visit" my old neighborhood and clicked through from the sat view to street view. It was awesome.
Considering the time frames they work in, I do find it a little odd that they capped you four times though edible_hat. Coincidence, but a weird one!

Apparently my area is not on street view yet. :(
I did find the street my old apartment complex was on in PA, though not the complex itself.

All i've seen is some guy touching a girls breast and a guy splayed out on a roadway.

My entire neighborhood is on streetview except for my street. Which totally bites.
I keep checking to see if they put it on, but so far nope.
