Not sure the best place to put this, but here it goes...

Last night I had a disturbing and aggravating dream. I was at work running the most-hated drive-thru. It was extremely busy but only at drive, it was night but there were only 3 workers including myself. Near the end of the rush, this belligerent woman drove up in her SUV. She was yelling at me, with spit coming out of her mouth, claiming that she had been in line for over an hour and that she had been made late for a very important meeting. The kicker is she calmed down enough to pay for her smoothie and left; leaving me confused and hating people more.

I had another dream about 5 weeks ago when I refused to serve someone who laughed at me for not being cheery when I told him that I had just survived a tornado earlier that day. That dream made me happy.

So has anyone else have had any strange dreams when you deal with SCs?

I used to have dreams about the gas station that I couldn't close....cars kept coming and coming and coming and no one would leave.

It's time for a day off when you start dreaming about work.

And when you're dreaming about work, constantly, it's time for a vacation.

Ack! Just had one a few weeks ago Trayol! Thanks for reminding me. :)

Weird thing about it is that I haven't worked the front of the house in over twenty years, and haven't waited in longer. I dreamed I was relatively new, and soloing and the first table was fine and then I was in the weeds DEEP. A lot like Nile's The Night of the Living SC's (http://www.customerssuck.com/board/showthread.php?t=32867) - too many in one group, kids, attitude. PLUS the back of the house was stomping on me too: bad food, wrong food, attitude.

I woke with a start and adrenalin pumping through me. It was worth going short on sleep when I realized it WAS something I could just wake up from though.

(For all of you younger readers out there - please don't be frightened! Maybe it was bad chicken, or a show I watched. I'm sure many former food service employees don't have nightmares about it twenty years later.)
