It's been quite a day today and I just need to blow off some steam.

I woke up with a strong pain in my shoulder from sleeping on it funny the previous day. Work was crazy. I dealt with more key requests than I usually deal with in a week or two. I had somewhere around 350-400 phone calls.

When I finally got off work, I called Allstate to find out what's going on with my claim. It turns out my claim was once again cancelled by Allstate and no one felt the need to tell me. The claims lady I talked to tried to pawn me off on the medical adjuster (I'm only taking vehicle damages through them) despite her being the adjuster for the vehicle damages. She is the last person I talked to and the one who told me she'd take care of things. She told me that Allstate couldn't do the claim because Farmers already paid for my car and had my title. I would understand this except for the fact that I never signed anything over to Farmers so not only did they have no right to pay off my car, but Toyota had no right to give Farmers the title for my car. She said she'd look into things and call me back.

I finally get the call back only this time it's from someone I think may have been her boss. The entire time she would ask me questions, I would start to answer, and then she'd inerupt and ask another question in a way that was implying I was an idiot. She questioned all sorts of things I did despite Allstate knowing the whole story and still telling me I could take the claim through them. She was patronizing and agrivating. I always try to be nice to the people I've been dealing with because usually, it's not them that's been screwing up my claim in the past. I was pissed beyond words though with this lady. I ended up hanging up on her because if I had tried to talk, I would have ended up swearing at her or breaking out into tears. From the start of the call she might as well have been flat out calling me an idiot and she didn't once let me finish my sentance.

I calmed myself down a bit and mom and I called back into the main number and talked to someone. It turns out because Farmers, without my permission, written or otherwise, paid off my car and Toyota gave away my title without my permission, written or otherwise, I have to go through them for any money. I'm pissed about it considering how many people at Allstate told me that they would take care of things and that I could still take the claim through them, even after they found out that Farmers not only paid off my car but had my title.

Knowing work is only going to get more stressful as the week goes on and the callers are only going to get more pissed off when they can't get through at the last minute is not helping my nerves. My ears haven't quite forgiven me yet for blasting Disturbed in the car.

My uncle's dog just had puppies and I think this weekend (payday) I'm going to have to go take a trip to see them to destress before the first week of classes.

 It sucks to have to go through all that crap with insurance--and more so because you have the stress of starting classes!

When it rains, it pours. I've been there. Sending mucho hugs and love your way!

By the time I got there, it'd died down I guess. *sigh* When I called, D said it was absolutely nuts and asked if I could come anyways.

Maybe if I get off jury duty earlier tomorrow, I'll come in and help you out some if you want me to. :(

O yah. About the insurance thing... I think it's time to get a lawyer. They've dicked around on you way too much.

I kept having horror stories about Allstate and for some reason Farmers wouldn't give me a quote without my giving them a credit card number first.

So I have GEICO. So far, no problems. (and my premium went down this period! YAY!)

And to top it off I just got done with a half hour freak out search where I thought I had lost the ipod my best friend gave me. Luckily it was found. Those puppies better be very adorable because I have a feeling it's going to be a long week.

Giggle Goose - thanks and yeah, it does seem some days like everything likes to go bad at once.

kaetchen - however early you want to come in. You'd be awesome for it. Also I'm planning on chatting with the lawyer who is doing the med claim about it. Who ever released my title to farmers without my permission is going to be in some trouble because that can't have been legal.

Evil Queen - I've switched my bike over to a wonderful state farm rep and my other vehicle will be getting switched over soon.
